How to be classic with a twist

A suit. A statement suit. My absolute favorite. I can’t think of anything more powerful to wear. Add some lace to the game and we’re talkin’ about perfection.

A suit is the easiest way to look classy, but if you have been following me for a while you know that I need that little twist. Well the touch of lace in the blazer and the full lace see-through trousers are the twist. I already saw myself wearing it before I even purchased it, and not just wearing it, rocking it.

The suit’s available in three colors: mushroom, black, white. Mushroom wasn’t an option for me but it was the first time that I doubted between black and white.

But the white version put me in a kind of “wedding” mood. And we shouldn’t evoke that feeling. No, serious, the white version is lovely but it didn’t give me the same feeling as the black version.

As you can see, I didn’t go for a top underneath the blazer, this is, of course a personal choice. I like deep cleavages. But never show too much, it’s important to leave something to the imagination. If you’d like to add a top, I’d suggest a bodysuit, without sleeves. (We don’t want to downgrade the beautiful sleeves of the blazer, do we?) I’ve completed the look with high heel open toe pumps. It may not look like it but I’m actually a petite woman. A lot of trousers are too long, so I wear (very) high heels to solve that little problem or I simply shop PrettyLittleThing‘s petite collections.

This might be the best addition to my closet in the past weeks. I seriously can’t wait ’til freedom is part of our lives again, so I can flaunt in it. It suits many occasions: from a fashion event to a night out with your friends to a romantic evening for you and your special one.

I’d love to know if this is your style? Also into black or would you go for the white or mushroom version? As you have noticed I like it the glamorous way, follow my lead or would you rather wear a bodysuit or matching bralette underneath? Let me know in the comments below. Talk to you very soon, cool things comin’ up. Enjoy your sunday!
